On 27 January, IMDEA Energy hosted the kick-off meeting of WAVE, an international project funded under the Water4All Partnership 2024 Joint Transnational Call.
WAVE brings together leading European partners to address two major environmental challenges: the growing scarcity of freshwater resources and the sustainable management of dairy industry by-products. By combining expertise from different disciplines, the project aims to develop innovative solutions that contribute to a more sustainable and circular use of water and waste streams.
The kick-off meeting marked the formal start of the project and provided an important opportunity for the consortium to establish a common framework for the work ahead. During the meeting, partners reviewed the activities planned under the different work packages, aligned their strategies, and defined a shared vision to maximize the scientific, technological, and societal impact of the project.
Beyond the technical discussions, the meeting also played a key role in strengthening collaboration among partners and fostering the team spirit needed to successfully carry out this ambitious international initiative.
